Kick-butt Kopywriting..

Discovering new exciting ways to communicate is fun, especially.. when you have an mailing list and client base to communicate WITH! Testing new ways to promote products, tracking EVERYTHING, grabbing data on various types of approaches.

Be “conversational”…

Test product doing very well, noticed a few things.. First, I am tracking a few metrics to see how the site is converting. This time I included a few tricks to hopefully increase sales:

  • Better copy - added a story “problem - solution”
  • Socially Proven “Digg” Subject Line
  • 3 Day-Countdown (should help get sales on last day… we’ll see!)
  • 47 Buy Now button hits
  • 11 Sales (need to turn above clicks into sales)
  • Waiting on Google Analytics for more info
  • 175 Aweber E-Mail Clicks

So far, in only 6 hours of selling from 2 quick e-mails, already pocketed a good amount, made clients happy and have feedback to make software better to convince more people to buy now.

A quick note on a project I am working on. Want to find ways to become more effecient at product creation, and deployment. Basically, need to create a blueprint/framework so when I am done the product/software/service, I can just pop it into place and ready to sell..

…needs to throw that together, soon!

FLASH! Adobe, Flash…

It’s going to help make powerful marketing graphics in only seconds.

What am I talking about? Listen to this small story…

This is a story of a development and evolution of an solution for creating web graphics online inside your web browser. Essentially Photoshop quality without photoshop.

Obviously that goal is better hard to obtain, although they have come close!

Essentially the problem, create software that allows for text input and then simply overlay a graphical image and then save that custom image. Sounds simple, right?

Well, as a developer there is a few scenerios that make this happen. Depending on your school of thought, you could find a ton of solutions to this problem.

First, I started using PHP - Input your text and then overlay an image and then through some crude plugins it created a pixelated .GIF image that was 5x worse than the start (…and the start was bad.)

Second idea is very similar. Essentially take the input text format it using CSS3 (drop shadows, etc) and overlay with graphics under and call that a graphic. NO saving of the image.

Who needs an actual image? Well… Kinda, everyone.

Oh! Well that is a problem.

After much searching, developing and creating prototypes to ideas that needed a quick and easy solution.

“Did you find one?” I hear you asking…

Okay, yes I did. It’s called FLASH! And creating graphic editors is easy, quick and maintains Photoshop quality. Why!? Because they are merging technology, Adobe wins again.

Essentially, instead of doing a complicated input text and image saving, just do it all inside Flash. Simply create a rotating background image, add input boxes for your text areas, ADD BLENDING OPTIONS, and simple snaphot code to out to .PNG.

Simple, and easy. I am JACKED to start creating a ton of new creators like this.

Want an example of my code? Hit me up in e-mail and we can work together on new editors.
